Google Begins Penalizing Websites Without This

Here at National SEO Experts, we are constantly working to stay ahead of trends and anticipate services that keep our clients on the cutting edge. We are making all of our clients aware of a MAJOR Google algorithm update that was identified in late January 2015.

Google has formally changed its algorithm for organic SEO to dramatically penalize websites that are not fully “responsive.” Responsive web design means that the website is built on a platform to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to tablets to smart phones).

Unfortunately if your current website is not fully responsive, your getting penalized. See the article here.

Nobody knows the exact impact of this Google Algorithm update; however it seems to be universally agreed in the tech community that within the next few months, all non-responsive websites will NOT show up on the front pages of any Google searches. Already numerous sites that showed up on page 1 prior to the update are not showing up any more.

We are offering a discounted “Website Rescue Package” where we will rebuild your existing website on a WordPress platform, which is fully responsive and the preferred platform by Google. Contact us today for details.

Remember, just as you own your business, with SEO Experts, you always OWN your own website.

Unfortunately, Google controls the internet and makes the rules. Our job is to always keep our clients up to date on changes that affect their online business outreach.

What are your thoughts? Is mobile responsiveness that important? Do you check sites on your cell phone, pad or tablet? Is Google right to make this move?
